This summer the broilers were raised in outdoor pens that were moved daily to fresh grass.
Animals are taken to USDA inspected plants for processing when they are ready.  They were butchered at about 8-9 weeks old and then processed into whole chickens, half chickens (one breast, wing, thigh, leg), boneless breast, thighs, legs, wings, backs, livers, gizzards and hearts. Approx. 1.25 lb of Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage.  6 per pack.
