Strazzberry Jam

Here they are!  These are truly artisan jams – made one jar at a time the old fashioned way: with no pectin or artificial preservatives.  We use as much local produce as we can – last year alone we devoured over 4,000 pounds of locally grown, red-all-the-way-through Ohio strawberries!

Jams are spread made with mashed or finely chopped ingredients. The flesh of the fruit or vegetable is used, not discarded as they are in jellies.

Our jams are not canned with pectin, so they contain much less sugar than most manufactured products. That’s good news! All-natural jams must be patiently cooked for a longer time, allowing the water to evaporate and thus creating a denser jam concoction. Our customers are thrilled that just a dab of our jam has a power-packed punch of flavor!Best of all, the Jam and Jelly Lady does not use pectin so you can taste all the intense flavors of the fruits- truly delicious!

Very few canneries produce in this old-fashioned but flavorful manner and we are so fortunate to have her nearby using local fruits.
