How it Works
Locally Harvested For You is intended to bring fresh, healthy, locally grown and produced food to you, the buyer, in a cost-effective and easy manner on a weekly basis. (View our current Pick-Up Locations.) Product selection varies by season. While many of our producers are organic, we also support the sustainable practices of the small non-certified farmer. We believe the quality and freshness of foods, whether food is produced in an ethical and sustainable manner, and what the energy trail of a product is, (how many calories to produce and deliver the product and its carbon footprint) are as important as whether a farmer is strictly organic.
In summary, after you join as a member, you'll use the computer to purchase fresh, local produce and other locally produced goods in quantities you can use and have them delivered to your Pick-Up Location. We hope you find setting up and ordering through us incredibly easy. If you have any problems with it, please feel free to contact us. We would be happy to walk you through the process.
Membership options include a one-time free 2-week trial period or a one year (12-month) membership for $35 so you can experience all that each season offers.
Getting Started
- A customer first needs to become a member of Locally Harvested For You by filling out the Member Profile and buying a membership plan.
- Log-in, shop the local products, and fill your basket during the order cycle.
- Products are available based on a first come, first served basis.
- Pick up your products at the Pick-Up Location that you chose on your order.
- Enjoy your orders and feel good about supporting your health and our local community. Tell your friends, come back next week, and visit us again!
